[Map] serialize | Manual

[Map] serialize

Alias for [Map] toString. A toString message, sometimes implicitly send by other messages like 'Pen write:' will give you a serialized version of the Map or List. This is far more useful than a 'dumb' textual description of the object like 'array' or 'object'. However, when working with very large Maps or Lists accidentally dumping the entire contents can be annoying, in this case you can override the toString behaviour but you don't have to remap the original, you can just use this alias. Also, this alias can be used if you want to make the serialization more explicit.
